Job: Intermediate ASP.NET/FLEX Developer

Our client, an innovative software developer in Northeast Toronto GTA, is seeking experienced C#/.NET developers to work in the design and conversion of applications from classic ASP. You must be able to:

• Work equally well with very technical people and non-technical stakeholders

Key responsibilities:

• Creates detailed software specifications, based on requirements
• Utilizes in-depth development, technical and design expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, XML technologies, and SQL-Server
• Estimates development tasks based on the appropriate business constraints
• Reviews and validates implementations of self and others to ensure they meet requirements and match the specifications
• Enforces and evolves software development standards and best practices

Requirements:

• 3+ years professional experience in all stages of definition, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software systems, especially web-based.
• 2+ years of professional experience in all of the following tools/technologies: ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET/C#, SQL Server and T-SQL, XML/XSL and client-side (browser) technologies.
• Able to use MS SQL Server, able to create stored procedures, build and run CRUD TSQL queries involving joins between 1 or 2 tables.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Experience with FLEX, jQuery and AJAX would be an asset
